Conform actiunii depuse la dosar, intre avocata Cristina Codrun si Edward Maya a existat in perioada 01.11.2009-01.06.2011 un contract prin care artistul se obliga sa-i plateasca lunar un onorariu de 1.000 de euro pentru consultanta, asistare reprezentare, redactare, semnare cereri si intocmire proces-verbal, conciliere si 100 de euro pentru prezenta aparatorului in instante. La aceste sume se adauga si un onorariu de succes de 10% din suma castigata. Toti banii trebuiau achitati la finalul contractului. Concediata de Edward Maya, avocata sustine ca nu a vazut niciun banut de la cantaret si a cerut Judecatoriei Sectorului 1 executarea silita a acestuia in incercarea de a-si recupera suma care i se cuvenea, adica 20.000?. Fosta avocata a vedetei a actionat o clauza prin care avea dreptul sa deschida procesele de executare pe numele clientului in cazul neplatii in termen de cinci zile de la scadenta, urmand ca tot de atunci sa se perceapa penalitati de 1% pe zi. Artistul a fost pur si simplu socat de demersul fostei sale avocate. "Am apucat sa ma documentez putin, iar noii mei avocati se ocupa deja de acest caz.
